Why this page exists
OutboundBio sends cold email on behalf of CROs and CDMOs. If you received one of these emails, this page explains how that outreach works, the standards it follows, and how to stop it.
Our outreach standards
- Business contacts only. We contact professionals at their work address about services related to their role. We do not email consumers.
- Relevant to your role. Recipients are chosen because their job involves selecting or working with outsourcing partners.
- Clear sender. Every email identifies who it is from and includes a postal address.
- Easy opt-out. Every email includes a clear way to stop receiving messages.
- Opt-outs are honored. Opt-outs go on a suppression list that applies to all future campaigns we run.
- Honest content. No misleading subject lines, no fake reply threads, no false claims. Clients approve every message before it is sent.
- Separate infrastructure. Outreach is sent from dedicated, authenticated domains (SPF, DKIM and DMARC) with controlled daily volumes.
Laws we work within
Our outreach is designed to align with the US CAN-SPAM Act, EU and UK GDPR, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation where they apply. Clients are responsible for reviewing outreach with their own compliance teams before launch.
How to stop receiving emails
- Use the opt-out in the email you received, or reply with "unsubscribe".
- Or email paras@outboundbio.com with the address you want removed.
We will stop contacting you and keep only what is needed to make sure you are not contacted again.
